The Global Corporate Sustainability Forum (GCSF) is an annual event organized by the Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (A·SDGs) and the Taiwan Yongji Energy Research Foundation (TAISE) to address climate change, energy transformation, and sustainable development. It connects academic research and latest trends from Taiwan, aims to communicate with the international community, implement sustainable education, and explore corporate business opportunities. The forum is a response to the Earth's deteriorating ecological environment and the Paris Agreement.
Volvo Group is committed to a shift towards sustainable transport, recognizing the need for personal and company changes. The company's core values of Quality, Safety, and Environmental Care have been present since the 1970s. As a transport provider, Volvo is actively discussing with customers across Southeast Asia to drive the development of sustainable transportation. Although the market for electric solutions is still small, many customers are starting their own shift to electric vehicles, highlighting the need for companies to adapt and work towards a more sustainable future.
Our application focused on the sustainability strategy that we have mapped for the group and focussed on efforts across the 3 targets, namely - climate, people, and resources.
